Upgrading to version 1.2.1 of the EZ Animator Deluxe

If you are a current owner of the EZ Animator Deluxe and use one of the following versions of the HUD, you can use the new automatic updater to upgrade your EZAD: 1.0.4, 1.1.0, 1.1.1, 1.1.2, 1.1.3, 1.2.0

To upgrade your HUD follow these nine steps:

Phase 1

  • Step 1: Rez your HUDDLES EZAD Updater. Leave it on the ground until the update is completely done.
  • Step 2: Rez your old HUDDLES EZ Animator Deluxe nearby
  • Step 3: Drop the seed script* into your old EZAD. It’s name is: <<< EZAD UPDATE SEED v1.2.1 >>>
    * If you do not have this script, touch the Updater object, it will give you a copy.
  • Step 4: When you see a blue drop down box, click yes!
  • Step 5: Wait until you see the message that Phase 1 is complete. This will take a couple of minutes. (If you see a blue dialog asking if you want to give permission to animate, you can say yes or no or ignore it. It doesn’t matter.)

Phase 2

  • Step 6: Take your EZAD from the ground.
  • Step 7: Rerez your EZAD back onto the ground.
  • Step 8: Right click on your EZAD and choose Edit to select it.
  • Step 9: Go to the Tools menu and select “Set Scripts to Running in Selection.” Wait a little bit to get the all message that says: That’s it, you are done.
(If you have the OnRez client, this last step would be:

    1. Click on the View Menu, Make sure you have an X next to “Show Build Menu”
    2. On the BUILD Menu, select “Scripts” —> “Set Scripts to Running in Selection”

Please note that the name of the HUD will be changed to “HUDDLES EZ Animator Deluxe v1.2.1″ when the process is done.

If you are reading this page using the Google translator, please note that macro commands like [NAME] and [WHISPER] only work if use the English word in the brackets and not the translated word. Be sure to view the page in English to make sure you are using the correct command in your macros.

I followed your directions step by step, I have the new updated huddle but I have lost all my dances.

I can not replace them, I that was a years worth of hard work and purchases as a reward for that hard work. What do I do now? Yikes!!!! :((

  15. Keiki Lemieux Says:

Sumi, it is likely that you did not lose your animations. Nothing in the scripts would delete animations. What’s more likely is that they are still in your inventory in a different copy of your HUD. Here is what you do:

    1. Search your inventory for 1.1.3, 1.2.0 or whatever the version number you were using before. What you are looking for are copies of the HUD which are (no copy). You want to wear or take a look at every HUD that is no copy to see if your animations are inside.
    2. Next search for 1.2.1 and again look for the (no copy) HUDs. Wear them and check for your dances.
    3. Search your inventory for “Dance Slave”. If you find a bunch of dance slave scripts your animations maybe in the same folder. If so you should look at this link for
