Giving the Gift of HUDDLES

tools-menuI finally rooted out a problem I was having with my gift server for the new HUDDLES Landmark Pal Deluxe. Now it works! Luckily the problem was in the server and not the HUD, so no update is necessary. If you have the Landmark Pal Deluxe and want to give the free trial version to your friends, it should now work. Go ahead and give it away.

If you haven’t yet tried the new Landmark Pal Deluxe, it’s really neat. I’ve found it to be very useful personally. It’s great to keep track of all your recent locations via the handy history menu. And it’s so nice to be able to save your favorite places in a variety of ways.

Version 1.3.0 of the EZ Animator Deluxe is Ready

I have now released version 1.3.0 of the EZ Animator Deluxe. There have been no changes from the Release Candidate version that I set out a week and a half ago. So if you already updated to version 1.3.0 Release Candidate, there is no reason for you to do this update.

To get the latest update, go to the update area underneath HUDDLES Headquarters. Use the following SLURL to get there directly:

Once there, click on the green ball to get the updater object. Rez it and follow the directions that are on the object. The directions are also on this website. And if you want to see what has changed since 1.2.1, check out the change log.

First Release Candidate of Version 1.3.0 of the EZ Animator Deluxe

There is a new test version of the EZ Animator Deluxe available to current owners. This is a bug fix upgrade. Also, the main scripts have all been recompiled using mono which should improve performance.

If you have an EZ Animator Deluxe, head to HUDDLES Headquarters. The update area is directly below the store on the island. Use the following SLURL to get there directly:

Once there, click the orange ball to get your updater object. Rez it on the ground and follow the directions right on the updater:

EZ Animator Deluxe Update

I do not have a release date for the next update. However, I’m going to vow right now that I will make at least one blog update every 48 hours to help me focus on getting it done soon. I’m back in school this summer so priorities have been split, but I’m determined to get a new release out soon.

Here is a progress report on the next version of the EZ Animator Deluxe. Things that I’ve added so far:

  1. [NO_DANCE] – This tag anywhere in a macro will make the EZAD not play that macro while in dance mode. This will allow people to combine all their dance and non-dance macros into one notecard.
  2. [TARGET_FIRST] & [TARGET_LAST] -These work just like the [TARGET] tag so you can insert your current target’s first or last name into an emote. Also, you will be able to use multiple [TARGET] tags in one emote
  3. Now when you click the Load Notecard you also see AO notecards and vice versa. However, depending on which button you press, the AO notecards are either shown first or last.
  4. Additions to the Tools menu: List all animations, sounds, landmarks or objects. This will list out all of a particular type of object in open chat so you can more easily copy and paste things into notecards.
  5. Groundsit button puts you in ‘Ground Sit Mode’, meaning you play your current groundsit animation without having to actually sit on the ground. You can also use the /99ground command. (more…)
