all button

Playing Animations

To play an animation, click the name of the animation you want to play. To page through the choices use the First, Previous, Next and Last buttons.

Arrow Buttons

Please note:

  • The First and Last button takes you to the first or last page of 10 animations in the HUD.
  • The Previous and Next button takes you to the previous or next page of animations. If you are on the last page and touch the Next button, you will loop around to the first page. If you are on the first page and touch the Previous button, you will loop around to the last page.
  • For long animations, it may take a moment for it to load to your client, just like a large picture takes a while to load on a website. Once it is loaded during a particular session, it should start right away the next time you play it.

Stopping Animations

To stop an animation, click the button with the square icon in the middle of the bottom buttons, to the right of the ALL button. If the EZAD is playing a macro or animation, it will stop.

Stop Button

If you want to stop all animations, click the stop button again. (You may have to click it twice for it to work. The EZAD will stop all animations, even animations that were started by other devices on other sims. This works well when you find yourself stuck in a strange animation. This can happen when you teleport away from a sim before first standing up from a poseball.

If you are reading this page using the Google translator, please note that macro commands like [NAME] and [WHISPER] only work if use the English word in the brackets and not the translated word. Be sure to view the page in English to make sure you are using the correct command in your macros.

Certain animations move you around; I guess there is no way to control this movement in EZAD? I think you need poseballs for that, but maybe there is a workaround?

  2. Keiki Lemieux Says:

@Cidri, animations give you the appearance of moving around. Certain dances will make it look like your avatar moves several paces away from where you were. However, you are not actually moving. You will notice that your name stays in the same place. Anyway, that illusion of movement is set before the animation is imported into SL. And as of yet, the EZ Animator doesn’t have any functions which moves your avatar (except for Hugs).

When I am dancing using my Hud. The Names are displayed in my chat , some of them others see. How do i stop them from showing

  4. Keiki Lemieux Says:

What’s happening, Peaches, is that your HUD can’t find the animation that you have listed on the notecard. This usually happens when the name of the animation is slightly different from what you have on the notecard. For instance, there may be an extra space somewhere, or the capitalization is off. If you cannot find the problem, IM me in world and I’ll help you.
