Notecards – Naming Buttons
By default, the name displayed on the HUD is the first item from that line on the notecard. For instance if you have this as a macro:
backflip|/me exclaims whoopee!
The name on the button will be “backflip”, the same as the first command. However you may want to choose what name appears on the button for a specific macro. For instance, change the above macro to this:
[NAME]Mega-Flip|backflip|/me exclaims whoopee!
When you load this macro, the [NAME] tag will name the button “Mega-Flip” on the HUDDLE.

Hi dear me again
I have looked through all the documentation for all the uses of the huddle even the web pages for each button and action but nowhere are there simple instructions for adding anything to the huddles. by that i mean how do i add a landmark or a list of dancers or a list of animations. On your blogs you answer peoples questions but as i say there are no instructions with the huddle.
It says what will happen when something is added but how do i do that how do i add a landmark what do i have to do. You mention notecards i can do noecards np but what do i put in it and where do i put the note simple things that are not answered.

Let’s take the example of a landmark. First, you add it to the HUDDLE just like you would add an animation:
Next you would need to add the name of the landmark to a notecard. You could add it to any notecard, but you probably want to add it to the notecard named “Landmarks.”
A couple of points:
To get the exact name of the animation, you can right click on it and choose properties. An info window will pop up and you can copy the animation name directly from that pop up by using Ctrl-C. You can then paste the name of the animation directly into the notecard using Ctrl-V.

How can I make buttons that go to other buttons? I want to use them like folders. For example, when I click the upload icon, I want buttons that say Landmarks, Dances, Gestures. Then when I click on the Dances button, I get another page of buttons that say club, slow, all dances, etc. Then those buttons will take me to the dances. Is this possible?

I’m sure you can do this if you use the names of notecards on notecards. For instance. Start with a notecard and maybe call it “menu”. On the menu notecard, list your categories like Dances, Landmarks etc. Now create more notecards, one for each Category, named the same as your Category.
On the Dances notecard, put “menu” on the top line and then the name of your actual dances notecards below. Do the same for the Landmarks. In this way you can navigate between notecards without even pressing the “Load Notecards” button. You will probably want “menu” at the top of every notecard so you can pop back to the top menu whenever you feel like it.
Please IM me or ask more questions here if this isn’t making sense.

I’m going to try the directions you gave Bekah Kawanishi regarding listing notecards on notecards. Did this work? Is there anything more I need to know about how to do it?
Is there a limit to how many note cards the Huddles EZAD will hold? How about the number of animations? I am trying to use it to control modeling poses for photo shoots, and need to be able to move quickly amongst a large number of poses.
Let me know,
Thanks,

There is no limit to the number of poses or notecards that you can put inside the HUD.
