Sometimes you want one notecard to contain dances and some macros to do other things. However, if you have one notecard with all these things loaded, and you start Dance mode, then all of them will play. You may not want this to happen. The [NO_DANCE] tag allows you to mark a macro to be skipped when in Dance or Random mode.

Here is an example:

blueberry stuffing
whipped cream
[SHOUT]Don’t forget to tip the DJ!

So let’s say this was your notecard. If you went into Dance mode, it would play the first two dances and then shout that message. Of course you probably don’t want to shout that message every third dance, so instead you can add this:

blueberry stuffing
whipped cream
[SHOUT]Don’t forget to tip the DJ!|[NO_DANCE]

Now when you are in Dance mode and the EZAD reaches the third line of the notecard, it see the [NO_DANCE] tag and skips to the next dance on the notecard.

If you are reading this page using the Google translator, please note that macro commands like [NAME] and [WHISPER] only work if use the English word in the brackets and not the translated word. Be sure to view the page in English to make sure you are using the correct command in your macros.

Hey Keiki. I <3 my Huddles and I love it even more now that after having my EZ Animator for ages, I finally took the time to figure out how to use macros.

I decided to load up a few macros onto my Dance notecard so they would all be in one place such as hugs, waves etc so I wouldn’t have to load up another notecard just to play them. I knew I would need to use the [NO_DANCE] tag so those macros would be skipped when I was gettin’ jiggy with it at a club in dance mode.

However, when I was testing my wave macro, it didn’t seem to play properly, only going through with the animation but not playing the emote of “Josh waves hello”. For the life of me, I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working since I just copied it from your sample macro notecard and just added the [NO_DANCE] tag so it would be skipped in dance mode. I was in the middle of writing a support notecard to Connor when I finally figured out what was wrong!!! I had skipped the “|” at the end of my emote, and before the [NO_DANCE] tag. It should look like this, all on one line on your notecard:

    [NAME]Wave|hello|/me waves hello|[NO_DANCE]

I thought I’d add this comment to your support page in case there are other avatards out there that might miss this little step as shown in your example here. Thanks for a great product 😀
