Admin Buttons (and the Dance Time Interval)
To get to the admin options, click the little circular button at the bottom of the HUD. I call this the flip button. There are three different sets of buttons, the Dance buttons, AO controls and Admin buttons.
Most likely if you look at your HUD, you will see the Dance buttons (with buttons labeled All and Me). Click it once to see the AO controls (with buttons for AO and Sit). If you click it once more, you will see the admin buttons (see the picture below).
Sound On/Off
This button looks like a little speaker. Click it to turn the sound on or off. Sound is only used in macros.
Silent Mode
This button looks like a bullhorn. Click it to turn “Silent Mode” on or off. In silent mode, the vast majority of chat messages directed at the owner are eliminated. This does not affect emotes that are part of macros. If you are seeing what seems to be the names of animations displayed in chat, they are misspelled on the notecard. If you are seeing the message “Touched” all the time, you have accidentally added a script or two.
Emotes On/Off
You can turn emotes on and off using the button that looks like a chat bubble. Emotes are used only in macros. This controls whispers and shouts too.
Dance Time Interval
The button that looks like a wrist watch is the button to set a new Dance Time Interval. Click it and then type in a number of seconds to set the time between dances in Dance or Random mode. The default time is 20 seconds.
Changing the HUD Alpha (Transparency)
The alpha (or transparency) button looks like a cursive “a”. Click in and then choose how transparent you want your HUD to be.
Changing the HUD Color
The color button is last. Click it and then choose a color for the buttons on your HUD.

When I selected the watch to set my dance time the chat said “Set time for stands” initially, but not for my dances. My dances all seem to be set at 0 and just cycle rapidly through without playing them out, and the button won’t respond at all. Help please? 🙂

Bellybat, you are not hitting the dance time button. Look again at the first paragraph of this post (I’ve added a graphic to help you find the admin buttons):
“To get to the admin options, click the little circular button at the bottom of the HUD. I call this the flip button. Click it once to see the AO controls, twice to see the admin controls and then a third time to see the main controls again.”

Hi.. I just updated EZ Hud Deluxe. Unfortunately, though, it seems that my dance poses stop all on their own, even though I’ve set interval for 0, which is suppose to keep dance going until I hit next one. This wasn’t happening with older hud… what gives?

Cece, unlike the stand time interval, you cannot set the dance time interval to 0. Have you tried setting it to something very large, like 3600? This would change your dance every hour.
I’m not sure, I’d have to check, but I don’t think it was ever possible to set the dance time interval to 0.

Hi… I just reset dance timer to 3600 as you suggested, but dances still are stopping at 20 seconds I even reset it. Any other suggestions?

My guess is that you set the stand time interval rather than the dance time interval. Are you sure you are seeing the admin buttons? See the picture above. I’ll test this in world to make sure you didn’t find a bug.

Keiki.. I’ve clicked the icon that looks like a wristwatch, set it for 3600, 36000 and 360000…. it still ends dance w/in 20 seconds. Is this not the icon I should be clicking to reset timer for dances?

I understand that you clicked the wristwatch. There are two version of the wristwatch, one for the AO, one for Dances. That is what I’m trying to determine is which wristwatch icon you are clicking.
At this point I need to test my copy in world and probably have you come and demonstrate what’s going on with your copy. I’ll IM you in world.

Dear Keiki Lemieux.
I read very attentively all your explications about how to change dance time interval.
But I am sorry, IT DOESNT WORKS.
I click on “flip button. Click it once to see the AO controls, twice to see the admin controls and then a third time to see the main controls again” as you say…. But I donr see any iconelooking like a wrist watch.
I have no that icone. No. No chnage if I click 1 or 2 times on “flip” – i have no that icone.
Whats wrong ?
I am sorry, but I payed 1400 L$ for a staff I am unable to use …
